What Have I Been Up To?
Hello friends,
I haven’t disappeared, nor have I taken a break. In fact, I’ve been painting profusely—perhaps with even more focus and determination than ever before.
I moved to Moscow to live with my dad, who turned 80 last year and is doing great. Still, I simply can’t imagine living half a world away from him. During the 25 years I spent in Canada, I returned to Moscow every summer, so there was no culture shock when I came back.
I call it a return because my planning horizon is realistically about a week. I’m genuinely envious of people who have five-year career plans or map out their children’s futures. But all you optimists, please don’t listen to me—keep your chins up. We need people like you among us.
So here I am in Moscow, living, painting, and truly enjoying every day of my life.
Below are some recent paintings that are not currently available through my online store, as I’m exploring opportunities with several local galleries. If something catches your eye, please don’t hesitate to inquire—we can discuss what may be possible.
And if you’d like to follow along with what I’m working on day to day, you can find me on my social media channels, links below. I regularly share new paintings, works in progress, studio moments, and the occasional glimpse into life in Moscow with my cat and dog, of course. I’d love to see you there.
